Mold From Leaking Pipes Grows Unseen

When copper plumbing pipes spring a leak, often the initial amount is small - just a spray, that it can go unnoticed.  Other times it is more substantial and wets drywall nearby.  When the moisture, combined with humidity and availability of food sources are all occurring at once, mold has the perfect environment to grow.  

This home had mold growing from pipes inside walls of a closet that were unseen.  Once the walls were opened, the problem was clear, and SERVPRO of Great Neck/Port Washington was called in to remove the mold, which we did - successfully, as determined by independent environmental testing.
