Port Washington, NY Kitchen Fire Started At Stove

This home suffered extensive damage from fire originating at the stove.  The fire ran up the cabinetry and affected the ceiling and rooms overhead.  Additional smoke and soot damage was apparent in every room - SERVPRO of Great Neck/Port Washington was called in for cleanup and restoration.  It is important to always keep an eye on items cooking on the stove and to make sure your dials are completely in the off position when finished to avoid unintentional accidents.  This fire caused extensive damage, as you can see - with a baby in the home, cleaning this damage was especially important.  The family is safe, and the home has been restored.
