Adjoining Unit Leak Creates Mold on Long Island, NY

A flood in an adjacent upper unit caused water to enter and damage this kitchen, with extensive mold growth.  The entire kitchen was gutted and mold re-mediated before the room was put back together.  Our customer had many hurdles in the course of their cleanup, as the originating water source was from a different unit.   Often times when a person suffers a water event, they are not even thinking that their water damage can affect multiple other adjoining units - but it can.  Water can silently invade and create problems both immediate and secondary - later down the road given the right conditions mold is a real worry.  SERVPRO will make sure your home is safe.
